Enduring Power of Attorney

An enduring power of attorney (EPA) is a legal document that allows you to name someone to look after your personal and financial matters when you become disabled due to sickness or an accident. An EPA may and must be drawn out at the time you write your will.

 

Enduring Power of Attorney in relation to your property comes into effect right away and the Enduring Power of Attorney in relation to your personal care and welfare come into effect when you become incapacitated.
